Dr Adrian Botea has a solid background from Haugesund, Bergen, Stavanger and Tromsø, among other places. With his experience in gynaecological surgery and long, broad experience in fertility, Dr Adrian Botea brings valuable knowledge to our clinic in Oslo.

Dr Adrian Botea is a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology (Haugesund, 2010). Dr Botea did his internship at Haugesund Hospital and learned a great deal from his time there. Among other things, Dr Botea worked with and was supervised by the founder of Klinikk Hausken, Dr Jon W. Hausken, and Dr Arne Schwennicke.
Dr Botea also has solid experience from the women's clinic in Bergen (Kvinneklinikken), Stavanger University Hospital and the University Hospital of North Norway (UNN) in Tromsø. In Tromsø, Dr Botea introduced laparoscopic hysterectomy during his time at UNN.
In Skien, Dr Adrian Botea was responsible for gynaecological endoscopy at Telemark Hospital from 2015, where he spent much of his time in the operating theatre doing laparoscopy and robotic surgery. He built very good experience in gynaecological surgery, with complex operations almost every day.
From autumn 2021 Dr Botea worked at Fertilitetsavdeling Sør, the fertility department in Porsgrunn. There he had a unique opportunity to work in the operating theatre with more than 700 egg retrievals (OPU) and more than 700 embryo transfers (ET/FET). This has resulted in children for a great many families.
